Hi,

My first post and would love your help. I have installed this version and was so looking forward to reliving my uni days with some sensible fun but unfortuantely when i run the game my FPS is over 600 which makes the game unplayable. Anyone have any ideas what could cause this or how to fix it?

These notes are quite dated but could help. Do you have Windows 7?

Note: On Windows XP , if you have a Notebook (Pentium M, Pentium IV, Centrino) then you may find that
SWOS runs very slowly and the sound keeps cutting out,
if this is the case then install [Speed Switch XP] from:
c:\SWOS\sswitchxp152.exe
then run the program from the startmenu, and you ll now have an icon in the taskbar,
right-click it, and choose [Maximum Performance] and reboot
now try and load SWOS again

Note: if you have an AMD Athlon DUAL CORE processor and Swos runs slow, install the following patch:
c:\SWOS\AMD.exe

Note: if it s still a little slow, close all other programs before playing,
especially internet explorer, and temporarily disable you virus checker

Hi, thanks for the reply. My problem is the opposite it runs way too fast. Instead of 50fps I get 800fps. I have win 7 ultimate and intel core 2 with Nvidia graphics.

Just made some improvements to the player search tool.
The last database file I got was in a different format, therefore it took ages to get round to customising the tool, however it s now done.
This version searches player attributes between 0-7 (the old tool used a 0-99 format).
The old tool only searched the main countries ie. England, Spain, Italy etc.
This tool should find all players in the last Synchronated update.
You can also switch into International Mode to find players representing their country.

- Found a small bug in the player search tool (during search by club name)

sorry keep finding bugs in player search tool
if you installed Swos19Apr12.exe make sure you get the latest one Swos20Apr12.exe
otherwise, i guess only install this if you want to use a working player search tool
