do you have the Swos folder in the startmenu?
Start Menu\Programs\SWOS\Tools\Change Graphics + Chants

When I try to edit teams and then replace the data file with the files from the extracted folder i m getting a message saying the disk is full.

I ve never had any problems like this for previous east installer versions .

Any suggestions?

Did you firstly open the hdf (double-click it) and delete the contents, then copy the edited data into it.
Alternatively have a read of [Start Menu\Programs\SWOS\Help\ADF View] to create a new blank hdf.

Hi ro.

Sorry i ve not replied, but i ve been busy and just getting round to trying this out.

I m following your instructions and managing to edit players and repack the data. I then delete everything inside the swos folder and trying to copy everything over from the extracted folder. This is when I get the message saying disk full.

I have tried deleting the swos disk, creating a new amiga disk, calling it swos and then copying the data over from the extracted folder. This seems to work, but when I play the game the old player names are still there. If I reopen the extracted files using swos editor 1.3 my changes from earlier on are there. So I can t understand why the changes are not there when I play the game.

I know you ve changed the way of editing the players slightly from last year and I always managed to edit successfully with the old system. This involved creating a new folder called swos edit and doing all the changes through there before copying them over.

Any suggestions as to what I m doing wrong? It s probably something really simple.

Thanks

Not sure if this is relevant, but when i m unpacking and unpacking the data and the dos screen appears against one team it says can t pack . It s too quikc for me to see what team it s against.

I seem to be able to get round the full disk problem now by creating a new amiga disk, but despite me copying the new edited data in I m still getting the old unedited players when I play the game.
