when i use the keyboard + keyboard option and play a friend, the controls don t work very well. sometimes we can t shoot or turn the player. most of the time it s impossible to turn if the opponent is holding down 2 or more keys. is there a way to go around this without getting a joystick?

you need a new keyboard, or buy a keypad. Sometimes redefining keys might solve the problem.

Joystick Problem,

Hello All!
After not playing for a while I now want to restart again and downloaded the above version.

The game starts (after pressing enter) when the windwos version not supported message appears.
With the fire button I can skip the introduction screen and the the SWOS ++ etc screen is loaded.

but in the swos++ menu I have no time to calibrate the joystick....
In a few seconds the program is finished with calibrating and has the same XY coordinates for every joystick position......

Someone has an idea what is the mistake?

now I only have the problem that the joystick calibration of the control menu is to fast to calibrate the joystick (left up press button, bottom right button etc.)...
In a few seconds he is finshed by his own without me touching the yoystick.

Tried redefining, doesn t do the job. I don t see how a new keyboard would work? I tried it on my two friends vista laptop and we get the same problem.

Some keyboards can t handle multiple button presses at same time, so you need one that can handle it. It s called anti-ghosting if I m not mistaken. I had the same problem with my old keyboard. Even some new ones have it, some of the newer Microsoft keyboards for example still have the same behaviour.
