Due to the EURO 2008 I start playing SS2006 again, because me and my friend did some 2-player-sessions and for him it s much easier to play than my beloved PES 2008!

There s a nice new update for SS2006, including Teams for Euro 2008:

I m currently finishing off a new Sensi Starter and MegaPatch that should make installing and using the new update easier.

Nice to hear that you like the game.
There ll be a new version of the MegaPatch available some time very soon (hopefully this weekend, but it could take a bit longer), it s a nice collection of all the best mods and patches that have been released so far - basically it has everything you ll need.
And you re right about 2-player, Sensi 2006 is by far the best 2-player football game that I ve played.
It s a shame that tweaking the AI any further for the single player mode seems to be almost impossible. ???

I got it and I hated it, in my opinion it didn t resemble the true game in anyway and shouldn t be carrying the SWOS name.
I m hoping I can still download 96/97 here and relive a true classic.

Well I liked it but it had very little to do with SWOS and the game was way too easy. Other than that it was a cool game IMO.

After some years I started my PS2 an popped in Sensi 2006 . I have the corrected names, so Kuranyi and others are there.
But.... the game is really hard to pick up, when you play FIFA World Cup 2010. It s old, and the action on the pitch is really not good. Ok, it s Sensi, but it was only a try.
I ll keep it of course. It s a collectible if you say so.
The real Sensi Feel only works on WinUAE.
Though I don t like the monopoly style of EA, I do like the fact, that they bring out NBA JAM wich will definitely be a better try than the last version of the game for PS2.
Perhaps EA will make a SWOS somewhere in the future. They have money and they won t bring out a half-baked version.
