SWOS 2006-07

I ll agrre with Playaveli.

If you play SWOS 96/97 and compare it with other updates (including mine) you can see that there isnt the same feeling as original SWOS.

This is what i am trying to say before about skills.

The real skills is a great idea and realistic but not fit in SWOS. Dont give the real feeling of SWOS. And i think it is hard to make this feeling again.

So i made the auto calculate skills from prices in my editor, so we can be close to original SWOS skills. Not exactly but close enough.

Of course the players skills must remind the player in real life but must be filtering through SWOS.

I will want continue reading more opinions about how edit a team. maybe is a good way try copy the format of 96,07 maybe no. i will tell this to swos editors of my site, who no visit this site (the most).
For me the best way for put prices is using the original table of swos 96-97.i will copy to here more later. Dont remember it good now... i only remember:
players of 6 points have prices between 650 k and 1 M
Players of 7 points have prices between 1.1 M and 1.9 M
players of 8 points have prices between 2 M and 3.5 M
players of 9 points have prices between 4.5 M and 9 M
players of 10 points more of 9 until 15 M

How are the points? If ronaldinho is a player of 10 points, he must have a price between 9 and 15 for that in swos appear with 5 STARS COMPLETE

The points are:
Middle star is 1 points
1 STAR 2 points
1 star and middle 3 points
2 STARS 4 points
and so...

How you get put stars? puting prices in swos editor. for this i writted the table of prices for get points.
Koller maybe a player of 8 points. he can cost between 2 and 3.5 M and he will appear with 4 stars complete in swos D

Thank you Robben. I will use your netherlands update with some little corrections. Becouse your update is realist. MAYBE much people of here cant understand me becouse they dont see the updates that i am receiving.

I did just like we agreed in this topic, and I think many editors did the same. I saw Whiteulvers update on his site; the 4 Greece topteams, and they seemed pretty realistic on first sight too. I agree with playaveli as well, Klose has a real-life marketvalue of 30 million Euro s; that s more then 8 million in SWOS-value. He is a great striker that needs good stats...

But I don t understand what you mean with these points. Were you planning on making a chart, giving points to players one by one and afterwards calculate his value based on the points he has?

NO. i only said that there are 3 or 4 new editors. You, belgium editor, netherlands editor and some more. the rest of editors work with me from 2002. And yes, your danish update will be in swos 2006-07. No problem. Bye friend.

Hi, I really look foreward to this update because all the 05/06 PC updates I´ve tried before crash in a lot of seasons (eg Italy, Spain, Russia...) .

That´s because they are too many (or too less) teams in the leagues than in the origonal game. I hope everything works in this update, that would be perfect. ;D
